Milt Orkin

Milt attended a conservatory music program at Carnegie-Mellon University where he obtained a performance degree in trombone and also obtained a double-major in administration & management. He worked as a professional musician for many years as a Baritone/Euphonium player with Pittsburgh’s renowned River City Brass and as a free lance Trombonist, most notably with Pittsburgh’s acclaimed Monday night  Balcony Big Band.  In addition, as Touring Coordinator for River City Brass,  he was involved in the management and booking of all tours.    Milt became a full time agent for Producers, Inc. and later Producers, Inc./Live Arts for over 20 years before joining the team at TAD Management.

Milt has  a great appreciation of every aspect of the arts, including all genres of music, theatre, dance and fine art. He consistently looks at new work, for both his own edification and as potential additions to the agency roster. Milt has been married to his lovely and incredibly patient wife Magda for 21 years, and they have 3 loving (sometimes) cats.   He enjoys being an  agent, cruises with family, serving on the board of his house of worship and volunteering with Buddy Baseball in his home base of Tampa, Florida.
