Phil Hughes began ventriloquism at age six after receiving a ventriloquist dummy for Christmas. What his parents thought was just a hobby, quickly became more when he began performing professionally in 1985.

Since those early days, Phil has performed all over the globe for major players such as PPG and Bayer, comedy clubs, universities, and cruise ships. He has appeared as the featured specialty act in La Femme Magique, Speakeasy, and was featured on the Showboat Branson Belle, in Branson MO, in a show that was awarded Branson’s Matinee of the Year.
