About Susana
Hungarian violin virtuoso Susana (born Zsuzsanna Sárhidai) has been in love with the sound of the violin since she was 6.
At the age of 11 as a national competition prize-winner, she was invited to perform on Yehudi Menuhin’s 80th birthday concert. She won several prizes both in solo and duo with her sister.
Susana was a student of István Kertész, violin teacher of the Budapest Béla Bartók Music Conservatory and Budapest Academy of Music.
After becoming the soloist and 2nd violin principal of the ELTE Budapest Orchestra&Choir, she was touring the world already at the age of 16.
She appeared as a soloist on prestigious stages of New York, Seattle, San Francisco, Vancouver, Toronto, Jerusalem, Köln and Vienna.
Susana’s talent and passion led to album recordings and invitations to concerts, events and to bands of diverse genres.
She performed in front of 1000’s in Europe’s biggest music festivals as a rock violinist, released a golden record and had numerous TV appearances.
