Jini has wowed audiences all over the world with her dynamite voice and dazzling stage presence. A veteran of Disney and cruise ship production shows, Jini has also starred in world premiere musicals in her hometown of Los Angeles, headlined a big band spectacular in Tokyo, judged national solo vocal competitions, performed on television, led multiple professional ensembles, and performed live concerts with her musical family. Having studied classical voice, jazz, and piano, Jini brings a unique blend of musicality and artistry to the stage each night.
Jini sings a refreshing mix of vintage classics and modern day favorites, including songs by Eydie Gorme, Lady Gaga, Celine Dion, Tori Kelly, Aretha Franklin, Carrie Underwood, Barbra Streisand, and many more. She taps into her fantastic technique as she serenades audiences in French, Spanish, and Italian with her “velvety vocals”, and brings down the house with her powerful Broadway belt. From the “Blue Bayou” to “Granada”, there’s something in her shows for everyone! Get ready to dance, sing along, and celebrate life’s precious moments as Jini takes you on a journey you won’t soon forget.
Jini studied music at the University of North Texas, receiving training in both classical Vocal Performance and Vocal Jazz. She has since been on stages around the world, both in musical theater and on the high seas. Jini has appeared with the Dallas Symphony orchestra, on several television programs, at Disneyland, and originated roles in world premiere musicals in Los Angeles. A vocal chameleon, Jini is equally at home in intimate cabaret settings, as well as owning the stage belting out power ballads to packed houses. Some of Jini’s favorite projects include originating the leading role of ‘La Pelona’ in ‘Tree of Hope – The Frida Kahlo Story’ at the MACHA Theatre in West Hollywood, as well as starring in the spectacular stage show Big Band Beat at Tokyo DisneySea! She was also thrilled to star in Norwegian Creative’s Paradis, created by Patti Wilcox (choreographer for Motown The Musical), as well as My Revolution (from the creators of Burn The Floor).
