ELVIS GONE COUNTRY

Elvis was more than just “Rock & Roll”. He was Gospel, Rhythm & Blues and most importantly Country.
It was Elvis’ mixture of country music and rhythm & blues that landed him on the charts in 1956, with his first hit single, Heartbreak Hotel, and the rest is history. So “country music” was certainly a big influence on Elvis’ type of singing style and form. And not surprisingly, Elvis still remains a huge influence on today’s country music as well. Through our talents and love for everything Elvis and Country Music, we’ve decided to bring you our tribute: “Elvis Gone Country”. A retrospective look at Elvis’ greatest country hits, such as: In The Ghetto, Don’t Cry Daddy, Kentucky Rain, Suspicious Minds and more. Plus a selection of modern-day country hits that Elvis may have “covered”, had he lived, from Dwight Yoakum, Tim McGraw, Allan Jackson and others!
So if you like Elvis and Country Music… Then you’re going to LOVE “Elvis Gone Country”!
