Growing up in Carmel, Indiana, Brensley knew there was one place she needed to be…New York City. She began working as a child actress with a true dedication to entertaining, and at the age of 16, she became a finalist on the American talent show American Idol. Brensley made it to NYC, and over the years has become a resident “Diva” in NYC’s cabaret and theatre world.
Her impressive and diverse vocal ability has led to lead roles in numerous theatre productions, including: Conchita in Barry Manilow’s Copacabana, Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Lucy in Jekyll and Hyde. Brensley has also performed feature roles in productions of Damn Yankees and Man of La Mancha.
As a sought after international vocalist, Brensley has graced stages from New York City to points around the world. Her repertoire features Contemporary Music, Disco, Musical Theatre, Rock, and more.
