Bobby Arvon’s voice has been heard singing the lead on one of the most popular TV series “HAPPY DAYS” in the USA, Canada and throughout the world. “Bobby’s voice and musicianship were the perfect choice for our new sound”, said Charles Fox, composer and music producer for the series.
Bobby started his career with some very popular big bands, after which he developed his own shows, adding to this a symphony concert he has devised. Appearances have been in Las Vegas, Atlantic City, including many successful concerts and cruise lines all over the world.
His high-energy performances, captivates audiences, singing, rollicking at the piano, doing comic impressions, along with laughs and fun with his audiences or performing one of his many original songs recorded during his career. His range of songs include popular standards, Rock, Jazz, show tunes, Italian song’s, as well as various Sinatra, Neil Diamond, Elvis, Smokey Robinson, Jerry lee Lewis, Michael Buble , Ray Charles material and many more.
As a Singer/ songwriter/composer, on the Label “First Artists” records, which was owned by Barbara Streisand, Steve McQueen, Sydney Poitier, Dustin Hoffman and Paul Newman. Bobby successfully had a “Billboard” hot 100 hit for 17 weeks on the charts, singing his self-penned song “UNTIL NOW”. Along with. His song “FROM NOW On” which was on The easy listening Billboard charts as well.
Winning the American Song festival first prize professional division with his composition “Later On”, produced by David Foster and Humberto Gatica, was one of the highlights in his career. As a songwriter, his songs have been recorded by, the” Fifth Dimension” TG Shepard, Frankie Laine, Jack Jones and many others. Various live performances have been with, Smokey Robinson, Ray Romano, Ann Murray, Mama Cass, David Brenner, Pat Cooper Marty Allen, Al Martino among others. Noted Television appearances are, among others, Jay Leno, Dick Clark, and Merv Griffin. Bobby, also hosted his own TV specials and Radio shows in Canada for the CBC network.
‘New Man In Town. Bobby’s first LP, was produced by Richard Behrke who had worked as Bobby Darin’s Musical director for many years, signed Bobby to the MTA Label.
He has been the writer, singer and producer of numerous jingles “Kentucky fried Chicken”” Taco Bell” “KNX radio” CBS this Morning” TV and many others.
His latest, CD’s “Living the Happy Days” and “In A Sinatra Mood” was produced by Bobby and his wife Judi Arvon, and is a live performance collection.
