About Antony Costa
Antony Costa is one of the band members from the UK Boy Band ‘Blue’ Formed in 2000. Blue were one of the biggest selling bands selling over 16 million albums worldwide.
Their debut single ‘All Rise’ stayed in the top 4 for 6 weeks. They went on to cover great collaborations with both two of the biggest names in music history Stevie Wonder with ‘Signed Sealed Delivered and ‘Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word’ with Sir Elton John which went to No1 in the charts in over 30 countries.
The band received great acclaim and went on to win coveted ‘Brit Awards’ in 2003 for ‘Best British Newcomer’ & ‘Best Pop Act’. This was followed by a number of sell-out Arena Tours worldwide.
Blue decided to take a break and pursue solo careers reforming in 2011 to represent the UK for Eurovision with the song ‘I Can’.
Antony has enjoyed a successful acting and musical theatre career with lead roles in ‘Blood Brothers’. Playing the role of Mickey. Roddy O’Neil in ‘Boogie Nights’. ‘Cal’ in ‘Popstar – The Musical’. ‘Stacie’ in ‘Rock Of Ages’ and also leading roles in stage dramas and TV dramas.
