Camille was born in a small village in France and grew up in a very musical family. Completely fascinated by the pop, rock, jazz and opera world she was immersed in, she soon managed to secure a place at “The conservatoire of La Ciotat” and began her vocational vocal and acting training. That year Camille also met the renowned Soprano Joelle Michelini with whom she discovered the world of Opera and who soon became her mentor.
At 18, and not yet able to speak English, Camille decided to pack her bags and leave France to head to Liverpool and train in Musical Theatre. Four year later she graduated with distinction and was awarded “Student of the Year.”
Still in training, Camille auditioned for the popular casting program created by Andrew Lloyd Webber to search for his Dorothy Gale in his new production of THE WIZARD OF OZ. She was selected from over 9000 auditionees as one of the twenty finalists in OVER THE RAINBOW and appeared live on the BBC.
Since then, Camille has worked in both Opera and Musical Theatre in the West End and the Parisian scene (THE GONDOLIERS, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, SINGING IN THE RAIN and JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR – to name a few).
She has sailed the seas playing the role of Christine Daaé in NOW AND FOREVER, a PHANTOM OF THE OPERA/LOVE NEVER DIES show produced by Jean Ann Ryan Productions in association with The Really Useful Group, as well as traveling throughout Europe and the Middle East leading the tour of DISNEY IN CONCERT, along with a 58 Piece Orchestra.
Camille can flawlessly sing her way through a huge range of genres. Her shows include a great variety of styles moving from Musical Theatre, Big Band tunes, Italian Operatic classics, and of course, some of her favorites numbers in her native French.
“Not only is she a stunning performer but she interacts beautifully with the audience. Bringing wit, warmth and charm to her shows.”
“Camille is a mesmerizing and extremely moving…there is no doubt that she adores what she does.”
“Her shows are classy and extremely well put together. Camille’s “French’ness” is an asset which makes a very special, memorable evening.”
